TECHIN promoting Women’s Entrepreneurship in India

During the International Summit Voice of Women 2008, Role and Contribution of Women to Global Economy which took place in India on 28th-31st May 2008, the Managing Director of TECHIN, Karolina Kośmińska, participated to the session „Women Business Enhancement through Associations, Institutions and Business Incubators”.

The Summit  was organized by the Association AWAKE in partnership with the Government of India and the Government of Karnataka.

There is hope for the future as Global trends indicate that women have been contributing substantially to the growing global economy, but mainly through the informal sector. The Summit , Expo and B2B showed case opportunity for better value addition. This forum was a great opportunity to highlight, share and debate one fact that women are equal partners not only at home but also an integral part of nation building.
