Representatives of public administration and experts discussed how to take advantage and transfer Good Practices eGovernment to Business in Poland. Specialists for informatization from the Ministry of Interiors, Ministry of Regional Development and “Cities on Internet” Association as well as experts from TECHIN and Innova companies participated in the debate.
„Poland finds itself at the tail end of the European stake in the field of research and development of eGovernment services from many years (…). The goal should be to involve companies in the ongoing undertakings” said the President of the “Cities on Internet” Association Mr Krzysztof Głomb and emphasized the fact that the informatization is only a tool which is necessary to make a progress.
At the moment in the Old Members of the European Union the New standard measuring the level of the eGovernment services offered is being implemented. It bases on a satisfaction of customers and it makes evident how the gap between Poland and the other countries increases.
Mrs Agnieszka Suska-Buława from the Ministry of Interiors presented strategies and instruments of support of eGovernment within the Informatization Plan which covers the period 2007-2010, while Mr Jakub Kamiński from the Ministry of Regional Development identified the current state of realization of the Measure 1.5 of The Integrated Regional Operational Programme.
Since the centralized plans do not always influence the local levels of administration, the Transfer East Project may be a considerable help to them. As the Managing Director of the TECHIN Company Ms Karolina Kośmińska noted the workshop was also aimed at Marshal Offices and Voivodship Offices in order to facilitate them taking an initiative or support them in the ongoing projects. Each participant could talk individually with the expert from Innova S.p.A Mr Alberto Sciuto and if interested in one of Good Practices identified ask to find them free of charge a foreign expert who will help to implement Good Practices.
